Upcoming Highlights
Open Studio
Rubbish Revamped is having its very own, and first ever, Open Studio for Chorlton Arts Festival and you are all invited!
If you haven’t made it to a Thursday evening workshop yet, or not been for a while, here's an ideal opportunity to pop in for a look at the range of crafts made in the workshops. You can also join a mini workshop, making a greeting card box, a juice carton wallet or a CD sun-catcher. All welcome.
Cost: Free, not a button (well, buttons are always welcome actually).
Time: Drop in any time between 11am and 3pm on Saturday 29 May
Place: 4 Abbotsford Road, Chorlton, Manchester M21 0RJ.

Arts & crafts Fair
Whether you fancy a little spending spree or simply want some inspiration, you'll be enthralled by the varied delights of the Chorlton Arts Festival arts & crafts fair. Rubbish Revamped will be sharing a stall with artist Becky Waite, famed for her fabulous creations from bottles.
Time: 11-4pm, Saturday 22 May
Place: St Clements Church, Edge Lane, Chorlton M21
Do check out the Chorlton Arts Festival website – there’s a ton of
amazing events to get involved in http://chorltonartsfestival.com/ for
ten whole exciting days, 20-30 May. I have completely fallen in love with Beth Jeans Houghton, whose track I Will Return features on the
homepage video.
Workshops May to July
At the time of writing there are a couple of places left on Junkmail jewellery on 27 May. Also on the menu, you'll find:
Blissed out with Buttons on 15 July
Beyond Blissed Out with Buttons on 10 June
Gilbert & the Sock Monsters on 17 June
Clear-up-Your-Clutter Tin Can Storage System on 1 July
You can book all of these online or by email.
Planning will soon start on the September-December programme, with old favourites and new crafty ventures. What do you fancy? How about a draught excluder from old ties or topsy Turvey junkmail pots? Do drop us a line with any suggestions.
Looking forward to seeing you soon.
Craftiest wishes,
Danielle
